Nicol’s art is reminiscent of a bygone era of the mid-1800’s when much pride was taking in creating things by hand. She likes to imagine the pioneers who may have admired dolls and toys in shop windows and then set out to create their own entirely from materials at hand. Nicol has a passion and draws her inspiration from antique dolls and toys, as well as sewing and household implements. Her designs include different expressions and vintage elements, which give them their uniqueness. She has been featured in many national magazines throughout the years.
